Dear Wimpie,

why wouldn't we move to San Francisco. You would be a system developer here, and I will apply for the open position of CDA ;-). Doing the same job, but earning twice as much as in Belgium.

Why wouldn't we?

We could live happily together in 1 of the Beach Houses near the Bay.

We'd see our children climbing
Coil Tower, eating fried shrimps at the Pier on Sunday.

We'd walk the foot steps of stars (like Sean Connery in the Rock), reading manga's in the sun on the little banks at the
Exploratorium.

We'd watch the movie 'Escape from Alcatraz' in the place itself, that is now used as a theatre.

We'd do some fancy shopping on Union Square, where you will not find a Nike Shop, but a Nike 'town!'. And the shops are open late, even on Sundays.

We wouldn't have to fly for 15 hours to Japan because Japan is next to our house.

It's only 1 hour drive to the beaches of SantaCruz, where we could ride a few waves on our surfboard. If we'd wanna ride the snow, we'd drive 4 hours North to go skiing in Sierra Nevada.

We'd have the sun and not a drop of rain during nine months of the year. You'd smell exotic flowers in our garden, and you'd find any mediterranean ingredient for your cooking experiments in the wild.

While you'd do the shopping for your noodle dish at Chinatown, I'd do my karatetraining in Golden Gate Park.

And every evening, we'd see the sun go down from Golden Gate Bridge.
