- Had some delicious dinners over here: kinda fusion food, with fish fresh from the Pacific, nice Californian beer too. And also something like tempura with fresh vegetables in it, and as a starter all kinds of Greek spreads with warm bread (tsatsiki, aubergine spread, spicy salsa spread). They have a lot of excellent asian resto's here because of all of the different cultures. We might go to a Japanese resto closeby where the food is served on little sailing boats on a mini-river. Crazy, no?
- Went to a mediterranean place yesterday with beautifully colored lights, like sitting in a Moroccan night underneath palmtrees and stars.
- Vivian drinks plain hot water with her meals, it's said to be good for digestion, maybe a wise Chinese tip for all of you?
- They play music in the restrooms of the Guidant offices.
- The airco here is freezing (je had gelijk Marie).

Actually, anything that's warm in the morning is sets the digestive tract into motion: hot water, a cup of tea, coffee, a cigarette, hot chocolate, hot milk, bacon and eggs, ...

And if it's liquid, then there's nothing extra to digest so it goes even easier.

Al die spreads, maar geen Heinz?
Ben jij te jong of herinner je je ook die catchy reclamespot "Heinz Sandwich Spread, lekker fris, lekker anders" op de Nederlandse tv uit de jaren '80 ?

amai, en wij die dachten dat Sara ginds ging werken ;-) Maar ik ben nu natuurlijk wel superbenieuwd naar het nachtleven ginder! Van die trendy diner-dingen, daarna clubs vol vlotte en knappe vrijgezellen alla Sex and the City,... (Ik weet het, verkeerde stad, maar misschien toch...) Zet die bloemen buiten!
En die Heinz reclammekes, was dat ook niet zoiets met van die 'Fame' danserkes die dan allemaal wat sprongskes doen en dan een sandwichke kwamen halen bij de 'juf'. Oeps, dat ik dit weet, betekent dat dan dat ik oud word? Aaaarrrch

Hey Saar,

dat japanse resto lijkt me wel iets, jammer dat het zover is! Wat heb je al uitgespookt daar, buiten gaan uit eten? Moest dit geen werktrip worden???
Ons ma zegt: "Zie dat ge daar niet verloren loopt, zoals in Oostenrijk,toen!"

Dankjewel voor alle groetjes. Ik heb alleen over restau's geschreven omdat dat het enige was wat we 's avonds konden doen na het werk. Ik kan ook over het werk schrijven, maar da's streng geheim natuurlijk.

Ik herinner me dat spotje vaag... Maar misschien is dat wel met al jullie beschrijvingen. tot snel
